Across the country, regular people are rising up and planning more than just a barbecue this Labor Day.
Trump and his billionaire friends are turning our government into a slush fund for the wealthy, gutting Medicaid, firing federal workers, and ravaging our families through ICE raids.
A week from today, we are coming together in solidarity and dissent.
Labor and community groups are planning more than 2,000 “Workers Over Billionaires” events on Labor Day 2025. We are working people coming together to stop the billionaire takeover. We are growing our movement and fighting for a country that is more fair, just, equitable, and free for all of us… not just a chosen few.
On September 1, 2025, join us in downtown Rock Hill.
We’ll be out in our usual spot on Dave Lyle between Main and White streets. Please note the time change! We’ll start at 1:30 and end at 3 p.m.
Together, we will rally with laborers, parents, community members, students, and everyday people who are coming together and raising our voices for better, safer, and stronger communities. We the people are centering the needs of the many — neighborhood public schools, affordable housing, and access to high-quality healthcare — above the interests of the billionaires and their corporations.
On Labor Day, we will turn the page and usher in a new era–for working families that centers our lived experience. We must stop the billionaire agenda that has taken over the federal government. We rise because our lives, our families, our public schools, and our health care depend on it.
In solidarity ✊
