York County Rising is a local, volunteer-led group aimed at effecting meaningful change to build a better future for all. We are bringing the people of York County, SC together to have a voice in shaping our community.
Direct, local impact through community giving, advocacy, and partnerships
We come together for each other when it counts. We’re always looking for more ways to help out, but our initiatives include food, coat, and school supply drives, local protests, community aid, fundraising, trainings, and social events.
Protests, activism, and community action
Our actions give visibility to critical issues, communicate to our representatives, show solidarity, and allows more people find us to get involved. We empower York residents through connection and collective action.
